Earlier this month saw the 50th Anniversary of the dismissal of the Gough Whitlam Government by the then Governor-General, Sir John Kerr.
'The Dismissal' was described as a Constitutional crisis, as it pitted the power of the Governor-General against a sitting Prime Minister and the Government of the day.
